Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Using WrenchPad

WrenchPad is a tool for independent auto mechanics to create estimates and invoices and to communicate with their customers. The account is held by the shop. If you are a shop's customer, you interact with WrenchPad only through the estimate page the shop sends you.

Estimates and approvals

When you approve an estimate, you form an agreement with the shop, not with WrenchPad. WrenchPad only records the approval (timestamp, IP address, browser, and — where applicable — your signature) as a record for the shop. WrenchPad is not a party to the work or the price, and takes no part in any dispute between you and the shop about the work or its cost.

Messaging and your obligations

Shops must have consent for every number they message. WrenchPad sends on their behalf, and their compliance is what protects the shared A2P registration. See the SMS Terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscription plans and billing and cancellation terms will be detailed when payments are enabled (a later phase).

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WrenchPad is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, or for disputes about work performed by a shop.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TBD].
